To celebrate the power of the sun, we will be observing the sun with a special solar telescope and talking about solar energy! Sunlight can power the world, in fact it already does! If you have an interest in space, join us in celebrating the 35th year of the Hubble Space Telescope. Each month throughout 2025, the Nurture Nature Center will be hosting the “Hubble’s Night Sky Challenge”. Plan to join us for this opportunity to learn more about our place in the universe.

Join NNC’s Senior Educator, Jeff Mucklin, in this special evening program about fireflies and their glowing abdomens. Discover fascinating facts about bioluminescence and participate in a firefly count for a citizen science project.
