Nurture Nature Center joined Stephen Flowers of the Suddenly Samantha salon and the Third Street Alliance for Women and Children for their No Child Left Behind event in August to help get area students ready for the new school year. In addition to receiving backpacks, binders, pencils, and haircuts, Easton Area children who attended the event made their own nature journals to encourage them to observe and reflect on our outdoor environment. The event was a big hit with parents and kids alike and helped ensure that all students have the supplies they need to return to the classroom.
