CREATE Resilience, a new project of Nurture Nature Center to help regional communities understand the science of hazards and strategies for resilience, will kick off this month and next with community meetings in the Easton, Wilson and Bangor area school districts where the project is running.
These community meetings will share the findings from the recently updated Lehigh Valley Hazard Mitigation Plan, and will help residents and community leaders to learn about the hazards in their communities, what mitigation strategies have been identified, and how they can stay involved in building a more resilient community. Residents can also weigh in to let us know the hazards that are of concern to them, to help us plan future events. You can learn more about the project here.
